Strategic Pricing Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a Strategic Pricing Manager to lead the development and implementation of an improved pricing structure for DoorDash, making the platform more affordable for our customers. This role will report to the Head of Consumer and will be responsible for devising and executing the optimal pricing strategy, considering overall fees, menu prices, and marketing strategy.
The ideal candidate will have 6-9 years of experience in consulting, strategy, operations, product, technology, banking, analytics, or related experience. They will be able to identify the "so what" from data, interdependencies between teams, and translate them into an operational strategy.
The Strategic Pricing Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance strategy, analytics, product, and more, to deliver impact through optimized pricing structure and create value for our consumers and the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing the optimal pricing strategy
- Optimizing fee structures locally through hands-on operational levers
- Launching new products through collaboration with international teams
- Leading Australia's Affordability workstream
Requirements include:
- 6-9 years of experience in consulting, strategy, operations, product, technology, banking, analytics, or related experience
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills
- Exceptional cross-functional leadership and collaboration skills
- Proven ability to deliver actionable recommendations and advanced Excel skills
