BIC is a leading manufacturer of stationery, lighting and heating products.
The purpose of this role is to ensure a professional approach to the management of specified accounts while protecting and building on these important income streams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Portfolio Business Planning: Creating and administering the go-to-market strategy for the specified customer portfolio.
- Customer Business Planning: Development and management of the customer's full year Joint Business Plan.
- Category Review Process: Managing the customer's category review process across multiple product categories and segments.
- Financial Management: Managing all commercial aspects with the customer, including sales budget management to meet value, volume and profitability expectations.
- Trade Spend Investment: Optimising BIC's return on investment while balancing shopper, customer and BIC's objectives.
- Internal Business Planning: Manage the account's 12-month forecast and continuously monitor and update the variances as part of the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) reporting cycle.
- Leveraging Team Strengths: Taking ownership of account initiatives to successfully bring them to life from concept to final activation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Industry experience in a selling function, primarily FMCG key accounts.
- Tertiary qualifications, ideally in business.
- Entrepreneurial/outside-the-box thinking and initiative.
- Sound business acumen with profit and loss understanding.
- Impeccable communication and negotiation skills.
- Well-presented and highly motivated.
- Proven success in new business development.
- Strong multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
- Leadership skills to drive cross-functional teams.
