This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in managing key accounts and drive revenue growth. As a Strategic Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to grow the presence of our brand across existing key accounts in the UK/Ireland while establishing and growing new accounts.
You will work closely with our international offices, negotiating with strategic customers, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders within the business and with customers. This role involves regular online meetings, trade negotiations, and developing strategic sales plans.
As part of this team, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day trade negotiations, forecasting sales, and identifying opportunities for year-over-year growth. Your ability to think strategically, build strong relationships, and communicate effectively will be crucial in achieving these objectives.
To succeed in this role, you should have advanced relationship building and strategic thinking skills, high-level communication skills, and proficiency in Excel for innovative and accurate reporting and forecasting.
Key requirements include flexibility to accommodate time differences between international locations, commitment to some weekend work for representing the company at expos, and exceptional communication skills with a strong creative flair.
- Deliver revenue, expenditure, profit, and category share/growth targets.
- Manage customer relationships and joint business plans effectively.
- Lead the post-evaluation process of key category business initiatives.
- Plan and execute trade marketing plans with accounts.
- Develop and implement customer-specific strategic sales plans.
