At the First Peoples Disability Network, we are committed to empowering First Peoples with disability and their families. Our National Learning Design Manager role is a key part of this mission.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Learning Design Manager who can lead the development of culturally responsive learning packages that support our community's needs. The successful candidate will work closely with our Training and Engagement team to create face-to-face, online, and blended learning content that promotes self-determination and human rights.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop learning packages that reflect the First Peoples' perspective on disability and promote cultural safety.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including community members, organisations, and leaders, to ensure the learning content meets their needs.
  • Oversee modifications to the learning packages based on feedback from stakeholders.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in education or learning design.
  • Experience in developing accessible resources and learning materials.
  • A commitment to self-determination and the human rights framework.

  • A competitive salary package of $90,000 - $110,000 per annum.
