Our team delivers renewable energy solutions with a strong focus on smart energy solutions, providing behind the meter and smart solutions products for commercial and industrial customers.

The Senior Contract Manager plays a key role in leading legal, commercial, and contractual functions across our smart energy solutions portfolio, including solar PV, battery storage, electrification, and smart mobility projects.

This includes ensuring legal integrity, commercial excellence, and regulatory compliance throughout the project lifecycle. They will develop and maintain legal frameworks and contract templates, manage licensing and authorisation requirements, and lead internal governance processes and contract approval workflows.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Governance: Developing and maintaining legal frameworks and contract templates, ensuring compliance with internal policies, legal standards, and governance protocols.
  • Pre-Sales Support: Reviewing bid documentation, advising on commercial terms and risk mitigation during pre-sales, and collaborating with sales and business development teams.
  • Contract and Commercial Advice: Leading negotiations for EPC, D&C, MSA, O&M, SLAs, NDAs, and procurement contracts, conducting risk analysis, and providing legal and commercial advice on complex issues.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaising with Iberdrola's legal team and internal departments, building strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and contractors, and mentoring junior staff.

To be successful, you will need relevant qualifications in Contracts or Construction Management, senior experience managing complex contracts, and skills such as high integrity, sound judgment, and strong technical leadership abilities.
