Job Title: Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner

Family dispute resolution practitioners work with families experiencing conflict to reach agreement on parenting, finance and property matters. This role involves providing risk assessments and screenings, preparing clients for mediation sessions and facilitating joint discussions using Child Inclusive Practice approaches.

  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and screenings to ensure the safety of all parties involved.
  • Prepare clients for successful mediation sessions by discussing expectations, boundaries and goals.
  • Facilitate joint discussions using evidence-based Child Inclusive Practice approaches to promote effective communication and cooperation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

This position requires a strong background in Law, Social Sciences or Social Work, as well as accreditation as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner with the Australian Government Attorney General's Department.
