We are seeking enthusiastic professionals looking for an alternative career path to leverage their legal expertise in a strategic, commercial setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Advising on the resolution of complex conflicts and commercial problems
- Liaising with partners and staff in relation to conflicts issues and queries
- Ensuring compliance with global sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering obligations
- Reviewing, drafting, and advising on conflict provisions in client agreements including panel arrangements
- Admitted to practice as a Solicitor (in any area of law) in Australia or another jurisdiction in which our firm operates
- 3+ years' post admission experience with excellent research, technical and analytical skills
- A proactive approach with the ability to adapt to competing demands in a fast-paced environment
- A desire to work outside of traditional private practice in an alternative legal career
- Excellent communication skills and ability to demonstrate collegiality within a team
