Job Description">

As a conflicts solicitor, you will be responsible for managing conflicts of interest and information barriers globally.

The role involves advising on the resolution of complex legal and commercial conflicts problems and liaising with partners and staff in relation to conflicts issues and queries.

You will also ensure compliance with global sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering obligations, reviewing, drafting, and advising on conflict provisions in firm engagement letters, firm policies, and other client agreements.

Key Responsibilities">
  • Advising on the resolution of complex legal and commercial conflicts problems;
  • Liaising with partners and staff in relation to conflicts issues and queries;
  • Ensuring compliance with global sanctions and Anti-Money Laundering obligations;
  • Reviewing, drafting, and advising on conflict provisions in firm engagement letters, firm policies, and other client agreements;
Requirements">
  • Be admitted to practice as a solicitor in Australia or another jurisdiction in which HSF Kramer operates;
  • Have 3+ years' post-admission experience with excellent research, technical, and analytical skills;
  • Have a proactive approach with the ability to adapt to competing demands in a fast-paced environment;
  • Desire to work outside of traditional private practice in an alternative legal career;
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to demonstrate collegiality within a team;
