You will be working in a leading organisation that operates in the construction and mining industry. They are currently seeking an experienced Payroll compliance specialist to join their Payroll team. The company offers various benefits, including flexible work arrangements.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will report directly to the Payroll Manager and undertake key responsibilities:

- Maintaining awareness of payroll-related laws and regulations
- Conducting thorough reviews of payroll processes to identify and rectify any discrepancies or errors.
- Supporting the Payroll team with investigations into payroll discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborating with the wider Payroll team on proactive governance of policies, procedures, and system updates.
- Assisting with system reviews and developments
- Identifying and resolving overpayments/underpayments
- Coordinating with external and internal auditors
- Performing other tasks assigned by management
- SAP Payroll system expertise

Requirements for Success

To excel in this role, you should have previous experience in a Payroll specialist/compliance position. Proficiency in SAP would be highly beneficial.
