Expert Payroll Compliance Strategist

Job Summary:
The Senior Payroll Compliance Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing a payroll compliance program to ensure regulatory and statutory compliance across the organization.
This role involves working collaboratively with key stakeholders to identify, mitigate, and manage risk associated with payroll operations.
- Develop a comprehensive payroll compliance framework to ensure accuracy and efficiency in payroll processes.
- Ensure that payroll systems, processes, and operational requirements are compliant with relevant legislation, policies, and agreements.
- Assist in implementing policy, award, and agreement changes in a timely manner to maintain compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Compliance Assurance:
- Develop a compliance assurance framework to document and review agreements to ensure consistency with organizational policy, contracts, and related materials.
Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate employment and industrial law risks associated with payroll compliance.
- Explore and raise improvement ideas to enhance future payroll compliance.
Operational Requirements:
- Manage and document systems for future payroll compliance.
- Collaborate with operational leaders to ensure high engagement and service delivery.
