Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with telecom carriers, ISPs, and wholesale providers in Australia and Oceania.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with domestic and regional telecom carriers, building mutually beneficial partnerships that drive growth and success.
  • Actively promote our global ICT and go-overseas offerings to enable outbound and inbound solutions for clients in the Australian market.

Strategic Carrier Partnership Management

  • Manage existing carrier relationships and deepen strategic collaboration through service expansion and joint go-to-market activities.
  • Monitor the regulatory, competitive, and market landscape to drive strategic planning and identify new business opportunities.

Product & Solution Selling

  • Promote our suite of carrier solutions, including fundamental products such as IPLC, IEPL, IP Transit, voice, cloud interconnect, and co-location services, as well as ICT solutions and CMI Go-Global products.
  • Collaborate with product, solution engineering, and pricing teams to deliver customized offerings that meet client needs.
  • Provide market insights to internal stakeholders for product enhancement and new service development.
  • Meet sales targets, margin goals, and KPI expectations aligned with APAC and global directives.
  • Maintain an accurate pipeline, report forecasts, and contribute to strategic account planning.
  • Assist with pricing strategy alignment to ensure competitiveness in the Australian market.

Market Expansion & Competitive Analysis

  • Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify new business opportunities and potential challenges.
  • Assess competitive positioning and recommend strategies to differentiate our offerings in the APAC market.
  • Represent the company at regional telecom events and forums to strengthen branding and partnership networks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in telecommunications, business, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in carrier sales or telecom wholesale business; prior experience in Australia is preferred.
  • Proven track record of building strong carrier partnerships and delivering sales results.
  • Strong knowledge of Australia's telecom ecosystem, including Tier 1/2 operators, MVNOs, data centre, and cloud partners.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage for regional collaboration.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, and capable of working in a matrix, multicultural environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
