Telecommunications Installation Manager
We are seeking an experienced Telecommunications Installation Manager to lead and coordinate the installation of telecommunications equipment at various sites throughout NSW. This is a key role that requires strong leadership and technical skills, as well as excellent communication and project management abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate the installation of telecommunications equipment, including antenna systems, feeders, and microwave links.
- Lead and manage a team of technicians to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Interpret drawings and specifications to inform the crew on work plans and procedures.
- Ensure all safety documents, permits, and certifications are completed and up-to-date prior to commencing works.
- Collaborate with internal teams across multiple disciplines, including civil, rigging, and ICIO, to deliver complex projects.
- Review designs and provide solutions for rigging techniques and estimate time on-site for crews.
- Troubleshoot site installation issues and provide recommendations to Construction/Field Managers.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in telecommunications rigging and installation management.
- Proven track record of leading and managing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Strong understanding of telecommunications equipment and installations.
- Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
- Certificate in Rigging (Intermediate) or higher.
