Job Summary

Charterhouse is seeking a highly skilled Contract Support Specialist to join our team. As a Contract Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in assisting the management of contractors to deliver works and services that directly impact our customers and reputation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess incoming jobs, create work orders, allocate them to contractors, and monitor their completion.
  • Coordinate scoping and quotation processes for jobs as required.
  • Review, prepare and progress contract payment claims and invoices for internal approval.
  • Review, assess and progress cost adjustments and variation claims.
  • Assist in the evaluation of Contractor performance, with appropriate analysis and reporting as required.
  • Apply time management principles to minimize the risk of poor outcomes.
  • Conduct site inspections for safety, environment, community, and quality parameters on a risk-based frequency.

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Science, and/or relevant experience.
  • Previous experience with managing the delivery of works through contractors, and/or with the types of civil maintenance and services work being delivered.
  • Ability to work across multiple tasks with attention to detail to achieve deadlines.
  • Good written and verbal communications skills, including listening and interpretation.
  • Ability to form strong, positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, with a genuine customer focus.
  • Ability to present varied data in a concise and easily understood manner.
  • Computer literacy (moderate level) in the application of software packages used in the Business.
