We are seeking an experienced National Account Manager to join our team at Carlton & United Breweries.
Job DescriptionThe National Account Manager - Commercial Beer will play a pivotal role in shaping the business strategy, driving profit and revenue growth through account-specific planning, execution, and strong customer relationship management. This high-profile, strategic role involves collaborating with key internal stakeholders and primary customer contacts to drive collaboration and alignment between our businesses.
- Manage relationships with customers and their internal stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment.
- Engage with customers to conduct joint business planning and understand key drivers of their business.
- Achieve agreed brand and commercial targets in line with national account strategy and individual goals.
- Monitor business performance and return on investment, identifying opportunities for continuous learning and improvement.
- Build effective long-term relationships with customers by understanding their key business drivers and requirements.
- Maximize time spent with customers through up-selling, cross-selling, and brand building activities.
- Review outlet/venue performance and identify opportunities to drive growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive a strong focus on people, including talent discussions, sales capability, performance, and culture.
- Coach and challenge the team to raise the bar and develop a team culture of sharing knowledge.
To be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record in sales and customer relationship management dealing with major accounts. You will also possess experience in negotiating and closing commercial contracts, solid sales or marketing experience within a blue-chip consumer goods company, trade/liquor knowledge, and strategic account planning skills.
What We Offer
- An estimated salary of $90,000 - $120,000 per annum, based on your experience and qualifications.
