Role Overview

This 14-month maternity leave cover position is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join our Corporate Finance & Digital team as a Strategic HR Business Partner. The successful candidate will be embedded into the team as a trusted business adviser and people expert, driving performance and enhancing employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Partnership: Foster strong relationships between business units and HR, aligning strategies with business objectives to drive performance and enhance employee engagement.
  • HR-Related Projects and Initiatives: Deliver projects and initiatives that support the company's growth and development, including performance management, employee development, and organisational design efforts.
  • Strategic People Plan: Contribute to the development and execution of our people plans, analysing trends and identifying opportunities to shape our workforce planning, talent management, and organisational design efforts.
  • HR Advice: Provide expert guidance on HR matters, resolving employee relations issues, interpreting policies, and coaching managers on best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role within a corporate environment.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles and practices, with a focus on business partnership and strategic HR initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Australian Employment legislation and experience negotiating and interpreting awards, agreements, and legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a results-oriented mindset.
