**Job Overview**

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to provide intensive case work and counseling services to individuals and families affected by addiction.

The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating assessments, intakes, counseling sessions, referrals, educational support and case management activities for clients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate assessments, intakes, counseling sessions, referrals, educational support and case management activities for clients.
  • Provide efficient day-to-day case management and service delivery.
  • Develop and monitor individual treatment plans and maintain accurate records and data collection.
  • Maintain a good working knowledge of AOD referral and support options within TSA Network and external agencies.
  • Effectively identify, assess and manage participant risks in accordance with policies and procedures.

This is a permanent full-time position located at our Gold Coast Recovery Services Centre. Salary and conditions are in line with SCHADS Level 4.

Key Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Community Services, Social Work or a related field, or extensive relevant experience with a minimum of Certificate IV qualifications in AOD.
  • A commitment to maintaining an Alcohol, Drug and Gambling free presence at all times.
  • Solid level of experience (minimum 2+ years) implementing case management and systems for disadvantaged and/or complex needs clients.
  • Knowledge of or experience in the drug and alcohol service provision.
  • Desirable to have an understanding of the issues faced by people experiencing substance use disorders, mental ill health and other disabilities.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to undergo a National Police Check.
