This is an exciting opportunity to work in case management and make a meaningful contribution to the delivery of exceptional policing services to the community.
As a Case Manager with a police service, you will play a critical role in providing professional client services to prospective applicants at attraction events and via web-based/telephone or other enquiries.
You will provide specialist client services to applicants requiring complex case management during the selection process, ensuring timely and accurate data entry of information into relevant systems and databases.
Liaise with other members of the police service and other agencies and individuals as required. Contribute to the ongoing review and development of recruitment policy, practices and procedures and service improvement aspects.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Service Delivery: Provide professional client services to prospective police recruit applicants at attraction events and via web-based/telephone or other enquiries.
- Complex Case Management: Provide specialist client services to police recruit applicants requiring complex case management during the selection process.
- Data Entry: Ensure timely and accurate data entry of information into relevant HR systems and databases.
- Collaboration: Liaise with other members of the Queensland Police Service and other agencies and individuals as required.
- Policy Development: Actively contribute to the ongoing review and development of recruitment policy, practices and procedures and service improvement aspects.
- Advice Provision: Provision of accurate and timely advice on applicant cases and associated recruitment and selection policy and practices.
- Staff Monitoring and Evaluation: Regular monitoring and evaluation of staff in accordance with performance criteria and provision of on-the-job training/mentoring to relevant team members.
- Process Review: Contribution to the ongoing review and development of police recruiting process.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent problem-solving abilities and experience working with people from diverse backgrounds.
A degree in a related field such as psychology, sociology or law would be advantageous but not essential, as are relevant certifications or diplomas in case management or human resources.
Experience working in a similar role or industry, particularly in public service or social welfare sectors, would be highly regarded.
Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management software, would also be beneficial for this position.
