The opportunity:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Accounts Receivable Officer to join our tight knit Accounts Team. This role will be responsible for liaising with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis, assisting with collections, daily administrative duties and general accounting tasks along with providing ad-hoc and back up support to the rest of the Accounts team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Perform day to day collections from our wholesale customers
  • Ensure all payments are receipted and processed correctly.
  • Account reconciliation
  • Respond to and action customer queries via email and phone.
  • Respond to all queries from internal departments
  • Manage credit hold customers making informed decisions to release orders

  • Manage the end to end Credit works portal for all new account applications
  • Set up all new accounts once approval process has been completed including communication to the customer
  • Assist with End of Month process
  • Other ad hoc tasks as required.

Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 per annum

The skills and experience you offer us:

  • Recent experience in a similar role would be desirable
  • System experience & knowledge (AP21, or similar, are advantageous)
  • Intermediate excel experience
  • A professional, yet down to earth and friendly approach
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team towards common goals
  • Great communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Attention to detail, can-do attitude, and ability to learn quickly
  • The demonstrated ability to use your initiative to solve problems
