The opportunity:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Accounts Receivable Officer to join our tight-knit Accounts Team. This role will involve liaising with internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis, assisting with collections, administrative duties, and general accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily collections from wholesale customers.
  • Ensure all payments are receipted and processed correctly.
  • Account reconciliation and management.
  • Respond to customer queries via email and phone.
  • Communicate with internal departments.
  • Manage credit hold customers and make informed decisions to release orders.
  • End-to-end Credit works portal management for new account applications.
  • Set up new accounts after approval process completion.
  • Assist with End of Month process.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Recent experience in a similar role is desirable.
  • System experience and knowledge (AP21 or similar) are advantageous.
  • Intermediate Excel skills are required.
  • A professional approach with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and ability to learn quickly.
  • Innovative problem-solving skills.
