International Sales Manager

Marquis Macadamias is a leading food processor and marketer, providing high-quality products to manufacturers, wholesalers, and retailers across five continents.
The Role:We are seeking a dynamic and motivated International Sales Manager to lead the growth of our stable, sustainable, and profitable international sales of macadamia products.
The successful candidate will focus on developing new business opportunities in agreed regions and markets while maintaining existing customer relationships to uphold our strategic positioning and values.
This is a unique opportunity to work closely with our Chief Sales Officer (CSO) to ensure the timely sales of all forecasted crops, production, and products, maximizing cash flow and minimizing inventory holdings.
This critical role requires a deep understanding of wholesale and distributor models and sales management to achieve mutually desired outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the CSO to develop sales strategies and plans.
- Contribute to the preparation of sales budgets and forecasts.
- Scope and research international and domestic markets for demand opportunities.
- Negotiate sales contracts and achieve target sales prices.
- Optimize the allocation of available product to customers to maximize profit.
- Seek and develop new customer accounts and markets.
- Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining our reputation for reliability and quality.
- Attend industry trade shows and gather business intelligence.
- Work with the New Product Development and Quality Assurance teams to develop new value-added products for customers.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports and attend regular sales meetings.
- Report on sales activity, market intelligence, and development opportunities.
- Collaborate with the production and logistics teams to ensure deliveries meet customer expectations.
- Assist in resolving logistics issues and capturing customer requirements in the CRM system.
- Work with the QA Team to establish Marquis as an approved vendor from a quality and food safety perspective with new customers.
- Ensure customer details are accurately captured in the CRM system and assist in its ongoing development.
- Help ensure customers trade within agreed credit limits and assist with debt collection if needed.
