About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our team at BTA Sales. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and fostering strong relationships with our customers in the southeast Queensland region.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and drive business growth
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and effective resolution of customer issues
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations to potential clients, highlighting the unique value propositions of our products and services
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients to secure profitable deals while maintaining strong relationships
  • Monitor sales performance, track key metrics, and analyse market data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to stay updated on industry trends, build relationships, and generate leads

Requirements

  • Demonstrable success in external sales, ideally within the building & construction industry
  • Resilience & self-motivation with the ability to work autonomously
  • Superior written & verbal communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence effectively on all levels
  • Be highly organised & strategic in your sales approach
