Key Responsibilities

The Commercial Analyst will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the company's evolving commercial framework. This position will drive strategic initiatives across brands, channels, and geographies.

  • Conducting in-depth financial and commercial analysis to support strategic decision-making and growth initiatives.
  • Developing and implementing brand-focused reporting and planning tools, enhancing the visibility of key metrics across the business.
  • Partnering with senior stakeholders to provide data-driven insights and performance analysis, supporting commercial decision-making and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Supporting group-wide financial planning processes, including the annual budget, monthly forecasting, and ongoing performance reviews.
  • Collaborating with international subsidiaries to align operational execution with broader commercial objectives.
  • Building strong cross-functional relationships, effectively communicating financial insights to non-financial stakeholders and fostering a culture of commercial accountability.
  • Championing continuous improvement by identifying areas for operational efficiency and recommending enhancements to existing processes and systems.
About You
  • Fully qualified accountant (CA, CPA, CIMA, or ACCA) with approximately 5 years of experience in a commercial finance or business partnering role.
  • Prior experience in the FMCG, retail, or consumer goods sectors is highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, with a commercial mindset and attention to detail.
  • Advanced Excel skills are essential (e.g. macros, pivot tables, modelling); exposure to SQL or data visualisation tools is advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to engage effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented approach, with a strong sense of ownership and a drive to add value.
