Requirements We have an opportunity available for a Business Analyst - Energy Shipping and Trading - Consultant / Senior Consultant to join our team.
Role: Business Analyst - Energy Shipping & Trading Location: Melbourne Contract: Permanent or Fixed Term - 12 months with possible extensions Role Responsibilities: Deliver business analysis in areas such as solution strategy, systems implementation, digital and data management innovations, and business process management specific to fuel and convenience retail.
Work with the Product Manager, Delivery Manager, Lead Architect, and Lead UX to ensure successful delivery.
Collaborate in teams often split across multiple geographies and sizes.
Requirements: Collect and record business requirements, understand stakeholder needs, and translate these into technical specifications.
Create workflows using Mural and detailed user stories within Azure ADO, with proper documentation.
Develop requirement documents, use cases, process flow diagrams, and data models.
Identify gaps between business needs and existing systems or processes.
Define acceptance criteria and project risks, developing mitigation strategies.
Maintain and update project documentation and ensure accessibility for the team.
Collaborate with technical teams to align solutions with business needs.
Required Skills: Problem-solving, analytical thinking, documentation skills, technical understanding, proficiency in Mural & Azure Dev Ops, Agile methodology, oil and gas industry knowledge.
Desirable: Experience in energy trading & shipping (T&S).
About You: Agile practitioner and certified.
Experience developing User Journeys and collaborating with Dev Teams.
Previous Business Analyst experience, especially in complex integration projects.
Based in Melbourne and available to work in the client's office 3 days a week.
