Customer Service Engineer

At Philips International, we're committed to improving the lives of 2.5 billion people by 2030. As a Customer Service Engineer, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional service to our customers in QLD, specializing in our Patient Monitoring portfolio.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert technical advice on maintenance, installation, and servicing of our medical equipment (software & hardware) in line with our regulations and policies.
- Work collaboratively with the wider organisation to provide exceptional service to our customers, including corrective & preventative maintenance, commissioning & installation of equipment and software & hardware upgrades.
- Actively participate in the sales process and provide expert technical support throughout the entire life cycle of our customer relationships.
- Manage and support technical escalations through to resolution, ensuring all stakeholders are continually updated on progress according to the company process.
- Provide best-in-class service to our customers with technical support, maintenance, and repairs on equipment.
- Determine the most cost-effective repair/solution to minimize customer downtime.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge through continual training and development, keeping up to date with new technologies relevant to your area of focus.
- Support Brisbane and North Queensland regions, with occasional requirements to work at alternative locations.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A degree-level education or equivalent in Electronics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering.
- Experience in customer-facing service engineering background within the medical equipment industry.
- Strong IT skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- A Restricted Electrical License and a full AU driver's license.
