We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Psychiatric Nurse to lead our mental health nursing team as the Deputy Director of Nursing.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring professional practice is contemporary, providing therapeutic engagement with our community, and leading the mental health nursing profession to attract and retain the best nurses.
In this role, you will oversee the establishment and embedding of expanded graduate and transition to mental health training programs across all areas, ensure competency, and provide strategic nursing leadership to deliver a high quality, evidence-based and cost-effective nursing service for patients.
You will also provide governance to nursing actions, ensuring access to education, training, and supervision, and manage specific outcomes including medication safety, occupational health and safety, clinical documentation, digital health records management, physical health, and scope of practice.
- Australian working rights and willingness to undergo a Background Check required
- Familiarity with health services and service delivery objectives
- Experience in nursing management and postgraduate qualifications in mental health
