We are seeking experienced mental health nurses to join our team at Forensic Intervention Services (FIS), a specialist program area of Corrections Victoria. As a clinician, you will play a vital role in reducing re-offending and making the community safer by working on complex cases with people who have histories of violent and sexual offending.

As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will deliver best-practice forensic intervention in a correctional environment, using the Risk-Needs-Responsivity model. This includes comprehensive assessments, clinical interviews, treatment interventions, and preparing treatment plans and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

To succeed in this role, you will need to be registered as a Mental Health Nurse with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses and possess a current driver's licence. Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people are strongly encouraged to apply.

This is a full-time position, offering a salary of $90,067 - $102,192 per year. You will also have access to ongoing professional development, including clinical scholarship, research programs, study leave opportunities, annual leadership forums, and relocation allowances for eligible candidates.

In addition to your clinical expertise, you will be expected to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans that cater to the diverse needs of our clients.
