Job Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead the development and delivery of initiatives and programmes that support student inclusion and equality. This will involve coordinating targeted programmes such as the Student Equality Collaborators programme and the Elevate programme.

As the main point of contact for students participating in equality programmes, you will coordinate work opportunities for the Equality Collaborators & KU Cares Connectors. You will also project manage targeted programmes of work such as the Elevate programme, supporting delivery and events as required.

You will contribute to the wider work of the team through events, campaigns, and communications activity. This role is based primarily on campus with some home working in line with policy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Educated to first degree level or equivalent professional experience.
  • Passionate about improving the experience and outcomes for underrepresented student groups, with knowledge of widening participation and equality, diversity, and inclusion as they relate to students.
  • Experience of project management and working with stakeholders to achieve objectives, with the ability to create and develop new projects to meet identified objectives.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the confidence to present to varying types and sizes of audience.
  • Strong IT skills and proficiency in using online portals for student worker jobs.
