Student Inclusion Specialist Role

The Student Inclusion Specialist plays a pivotal role in the development and delivery of inclusive initiatives, ensuring equal opportunities for students from diverse backgrounds.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead targeted programmes to promote student inclusion and equality, such as the Student Equality Collaborators programme and the Elevate initiative.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for students participating in these programmes, coordinating work opportunities and supporting event organisation as needed.
  • Contribute to the broader efforts of the student inclusion team through events, campaigns, and communications activities.
Requirements:
  • Hold a first degree or possess equivalent professional experience.
  • Demonstrate a passion for improving the experiences and outcomes of underrepresented student groups, with knowledge of widening participation and equality, diversity, and inclusion principles.
  • Proven project management skills and experience working with stakeholders to achieve objectives, with the ability to design and launch new projects aligned with organisational goals.
