About the Office Management Role
**Job Overview:** The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily administrative operations, planning and reviewing office services, allocating resources, assigning and supervising staff tasks, maintaining records and accounts, and ensuring compliance with workplace safety and government regulations.
**Key Responsibilities:*
- Organizing and managing office functions, administrative systems, and personnel to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.
- Participating in strategic planning and evaluation of office services, establishing service standards and priorities to drive business performance.
- Allocating resources such as staff, office space, and equipment to maintain a productive work environment.
- Assigning tasks and supervising office staff performance to maintain productivity and efficiency.
- Coordinating HR activities including recruitment, promotions, training, payroll, performance evaluations, and staff supervision to support employee growth and development.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date office records and financial accounts to inform business decisions.
- Managing maintenance and availability of office equipment and supplies to minimize downtime and optimize resource utilization.
- Ensuring the office operates in accordance with relevant laws, government policies, and procedures to mitigate risk and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Monitoring compliance with workplace health and safety regulations to protect employees and prevent accidents.
**Requirements:**
- Minimum 1 year of experience working as an Office Manager or similar role.
- Relevant diploma or higher qualifications.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
