Corporate Chef Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Corporate Chef to join our team in Brisbane. This role will involve working in a demonstration kitchen and office environment, leveraging industry experience to represent our products within the Queensland market.

The successful candidate will identify new business opportunities, build relationships with key food service operators and chefs in commercial kitchens, and deliver cooking presentations and customer training programs internally and externally.

This is a great opportunity for a qualified chef with extensive industry experience and strong network of contacts to make a real impact in sales based on commercial kitchen experience.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Sales and Customer Management: Identify, acquire, and maintain long-term customers for our products and services to achieve sales and gross profit targets.
  • Cooking Presentations and Training: Deliver RATIONAL Cooking Live presentations and customer training programs internally and externally.
  • Business Development: Prepare call plans to achieve weekly, monthly, and annual objectives relating to our target markets.
  • Salesforce Management: Use Salesforce to manage customers and activities involved in the sales process.
Key Qualifications:
  • Qualified chef with extensive industry experience and strong network of contacts.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients, achieve targets, and demonstrate our food service solutions.
  • Great communicator with strong negotiation skills, fluent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Sound computer skills at an intermediate level, experience with Salesforce or CRM systems an advantage.
A Bit About You:
  • People person who enjoys educating and training, with a desire for a career in sales based on commercial kitchen experience.
  • Local and occasional interstate travel required to establish a strong network and contact base.
