Executive Culinary Director

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Chef to lead our kitchen team. As an Executive Culinary Director, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity in menu development and presentation.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct culinary staff including cooks and food preparation workers to ensure efficient operations.
- Conduct regular inspections of ingredients, raw food supplies, and other materials to maintain optimum stock levels.
- Determine orders for required supplies and make necessary requisitions for stock, frozen food items, beverages, and other materials.
- Develop and manage schedules for food production and operations to optimize resource use.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely services and effective kitchen operations.
- Monitor methods of food preparation used by the food preparation team to ensure consistency.
- Assign tasks based on personal capacity and capabilities to prepare ingredients, cook, and deliver food items.
- Inspect and utilize various cooking appliances for order completion, ensuring cleanliness, functionality, and usability.
- Perform inventory duties, including stock rotation.
- Work with management to determine prices for menu items, considering factors such as labor costs, ingredient costs, and overhead expenses.
- Mentor employees, identifying and resolving potential issues and worker grievances.
- Evaluate and maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, storage, and sanitation in the kitchen.
- Ensure kitchen staff adhere to personal hygiene standards and follow cleanliness and sanitation guidelines.
- Evaluate prepared food to ensure compliance with established food preparation, portion control, and pricing policies.
- Negotiate with distributors and resolve vendor issues promptly.
- Maintain kitchen safety and sanitation practices.
- Direct kitchen staff in meal preparation, cooking, and delivering food to customers in a timely manner.
