As a Customer Support Officer at Bendigo and Adelaide Bank, you will play a crucial role in supporting the bank's business objectives by managing delinquent loans, credit cards, business, and savings accounts. You will work closely with customers experiencing financial difficulties to make appropriate arrangements that assist them in managing their obligations and protect the bank's security position.

This role requires effective, proactive, and low-cost solutions while maintaining a high standard of customer service. While this position can be challenging, comprehensive training is provided by experienced team members and leaders to ensure your success. Continuous training is also available due to the ever-evolving needs of our business.

We are looking for a passionate individual who excels in delivering great customer outcomes. You will be comfortable interacting with people from diverse backgrounds and possess strong negotiation and listening skills to guide customers towards the best possible outcome.

A suitable candidate will have previous collections experience, but it is not essential. However, demonstrated experience in a customer service-based role is mandatory. Key qualifications include exceptional phone and communication skills, a caring and empathetic nature, a positive attitude, and strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
