Rentokil Initial is a global leader in pest, hygiene and indoor plant care. We are seeking an enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team in Adelaide on a permanent full-time basis.

This role reports directly to the Customer Service Team Lead and involves utilizing excellent customer service skills to build relationships, work with technicians on scheduling, and make outgoing calls to customers to promote our products and services.

The core responsibilities of this role include:

  • Putting the customer at the forefront by taking responsibility for customer satisfaction, loyalty, and responding to customer queries related to their bookings in an effective manner.
  • Proactively making outbound calls to our existing customers to promote our products and services.
  • Demonstrating experience in customer service, including displaying empathy and active listening skills, providing a high level of customer service, and acting as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone and email.
  • Maintaining a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy while scheduling appointments for residential customers.
  • Converting incoming enquiries into sales opportunities using excellent verbal and written communication skills, including interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work to deadlines, KPI's, and meet sales targets while working as a team and independently.
  • Ability to multitask and attend to ad-hoc jobs as and when they arise.
  • Documenting all relevant information on the CRM to provide clear instruction for field technicians.
  • Maintaining our databases by ensuring customer records and details are up to date while ensuring compliance.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience working in call centres (essential).
  • Demonstrated experience in phone sales and converting enquiries into sales.
  • Capability of working with multiple web-based databases and email programs.
  • Proficiency in communicating verbally and electronically.
  • Able to work calmly under pressure while multitasking.
  • Proven problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment to support fellow colleagues.
  • Professional, reliable, and punctual.
  • Able to accurately enter data into systems.

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, plus a generous bonus/commissions structure to reward individual and team performance.
