We're seeking a dedicated professional to join our family violence team as a Specialist Family Violence Practitioner.

This role offers a meaningful opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of women and children affected by family and domestic violence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide trauma-informed, client-centred case management in line with established standards and models of care.
  • Build strong relationships with clients that encourage empowerment, safety, and participation.
  • Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of client needs, risks, and goals from intake to exit.
  • Develop and implement individualised case plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring their active participation.
  • Facilitate access to appropriate support services, community resources, and advocate on behalf of clients where needed.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Welfare (Social Sciences), Community Development or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in case management within the family violence or related sectors.
  • Experience working with women and children affected by family violence is highly desirable.
