Job Overview

Ambulance Victoria is seeking a seasoned professional to lead workplace investigations in a high-performing team.

This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a hybrid working model with flexibility and work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee initial assessments and expertly guide team members on determining whether to investigate complaints of inappropriate workplace behavior.
  • Manage employee investigations in accordance with Ambulance Victoria's Enterprise Agreements, ensuring timely, transparent, and impartial conduct.
  • Develop and improve investigative processes to meet industry best practices and ensure timely completion.
  • Coach and mentor investigation team members on best practice investigations and ongoing professional development.
  • Provide guidance and advice on misconduct matters to stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the Professional Standards senior leadership team to develop and implement strategic plans.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Qualifications in Law, Human Resources, or an equivalent field.
  • Extensive relevant experience in managing, leading, and resolving misconduct matters within a large and complex organization.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
  • Highly developed written communication skills.
  • Significant experience conducting complex, sensitive, person-centered, trauma-informed workplace investigations.
