Business Support Officer Job Summary
This role involves providing a wide range of administrative and operational support to the team in Norwest. Key responsibilities include managing office facilities, meeting and greeting visitors and clients, systems support, quality assurance, health and safety, and coordinating office and corporate functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service as the first point of contact for visitors and clients.
- Manage the office facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and upkeep.
- Provide technical support and guidance to staff on various systems and software.
- Assist the quality assurance team in conducting project audits and implementing improvements.
- Act as a health and safety representative, managing emergency responses and conducting workplace inspections.
- Coordinate office and corporate functions, including meetings, events, and travel arrangements.
- Assist with kitchen duties, including cleaning, restocking, and staff catering needs.
- Manage employee inductions, onboarding, and offboarding administration tasks.
- Coordinate deliveries, mail, and other administrative tasks.
- Update and file documents, and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
- A valid driver's license.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Courteous, polite, respectful, and professional manner.
- Ability to work proactively with minimal direction.
- Excellent personal presentation and demeanor.
- Intermediate MS Office skills.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
