About the Role


The Business Support Officer will be responsible for providing administrative support to the team, ensuring the smooth operation of the office and provision of excellent customer service.



Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a warm welcome to clients and staff, managing the reception area and responding to phone calls and queries
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our systems and processes, providing guidance and support to staff members as needed
  • Assist the Quality Assurance team in conducting project audits and ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures
  • Take on the role of Health and Safety Champion, managing emergency responses and conducting workplace inspections
  • Coordinate office and corporate functions, including kitchen duties, employee inductions, and travel arrangements
  • Update and file documents, maintain accurate records, and perform other administrative tasks as required


Requirements

  • A valid driver's license
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work proactively with minimal direction
  • Intermediate MS Office skills and ability to learn new software
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Collaborative and self-aware team player
  • Shows initiative and is positive and solution-oriented
