Job Title

The role of a Field Technician involves delivering end-to-end installation and maintenance of telecommunications networks.

This position requires providing installation and upkeep services to ensure optimal network performance.

About the Position

As a Service Installation Specialist, you will work independently to activate and maintain telecommunications and technology products and services at customer premises, in both residential and business settings.

You will collaborate within a diverse team to achieve exceptional customer and commercial outcomes.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver seamless service rectification and product installations, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain and install copper cables, including fault finding, jointing, and jumpering.
  • Manage fibre and core network technology and data services.
  • Maintain and install Customer Premises Equipment for both consumer and business clients.
  • Perform fault finding on copper networks, including in rural or remote areas.
Requirements

Applicants must hold and maintain relevant licenses and qualifications, including:

  • Certificate I & II in Telecommunications
  • Open cabling license
  • Traffic management qualifications
  • White card (industry recognized)

Training support for traffic management and white card certifications is provided.
