About the Role
As the Procurement and Payables Lead, you will play a key role in partnering with internal stakeholders to facilitate procure to pay activities, ensuring compliance with Council policies. A central part of your responsibilities will be to enhance and maintain Procure to Pay (P2P) processes across the organisation, ensuring they are efficient, compliant, and aligned with Council's goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance and maintain P2P processes across the organisation.
- Provide expert guidance and training on P2P systems to staff.
- Ensure data integrity and promote the appropriate use of P2P systems.
- Monitor and manage P2P compliance.
- Identify, develop, and implement procurement plans for new and collaborative procurement categories.
About the Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in managing P2P processes and systems, with a strong understanding of procurement principles and compliance. Leadership experience is essential, as you will be responsible for guiding and developing a team while fostering collaboration across the organisation.
