About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Director to join our team at Respect Aged Care. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing and streamlining our accounts payable operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of accounts payable professionals and oversee the daily processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports.
  • Provide training, coaching, and performance management to ensure the team performs at their best and meets operational goals.
  • Oversee the accurate and timely lodgement of the monthly BAS.
  • Manage the Group credit card program and maintain strong relationships with vendors.
  • Negotiate favourable payment terms and conditions with suppliers in partnership with procurement.
  • Continuously assess and improve accounts payable processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Implement and maintain automation tools to streamline AP operations.
  • Develop and enforce policies and procedures that align with best practice and compliance standards.
  • Actively participate in projects and serve as the subject matter expert for all impacted accounts payable processes and systems.
  • Oversee the AP month-end closing process, including the preparation of reports, reconciliations, and accruals.

About You
  • You have a relevant tertiary qualification and/or extensive experience in a similar role managing a large volume of transactions.
  • You hold NDIS Worker Screening Endorsement or can acquire it.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, plus entitlements, pay incentives, and relocation assistance negotiable.
