Business Manager Job

Lead a team in a dynamic and supportive environment with diverse student backgrounds, seeking an experienced Business Manager to drive strategic growth and improve learning outcomes.

We are looking for a highly skilled Business Manager to lead the management of significant areas or functions within the school, supporting the educational services provided to students. The successful candidate will have authority to make decisions relating to the program, staff, and resources within the framework of the school's strategic plan, policies, and goals.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the School Strategic Plan, ensuring alignment with the school's vision and objectives.
  • Manage resources, finances, and operations, making informed decisions to optimize use and ensure efficient delivery.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and implement evidence-based teaching and learning strategies to improve student learning and wellbeing.
  • Strengthen the use of data and evidence to differentiate and evaluate curriculum and pedagogy, driving continuous improvement in teaching and learning.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including parents, community groups, and government agencies, to promote the school's reputation and interests.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Business Manager or similar role in an educational setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams towards shared goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of education policy, procedures, and legislation relevant to Victorian schools.
