Lead Engineer for Systems and Infrastructure

We are seeking an experienced leader to join our team in Exmouth, Western Australia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the engineering integrity of systems, equipment, and infrastructure at the Naval Communication Station.

  • Definition, deployment, and enforcement of engineering processes;
  • Liaison with departmental leaders and other program staff to ensure all systems/sub-systems are appropriately monitored and supported;
  • Manage the conduct of engineering and technical analysis for desired reliability, maintainability, availability, safety, and cost-effectiveness outcomes;
  • Leadership of technical reviews and audits within the program;
Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline and at least eight years of professional engineering experience. They will also have experience in engineering and project-engineering management, as well as leading a diverse range of technical disciplines and staff.
