Professional Growth Specialist
About the Role:This position is responsible for facilitating professional growth, driving change, and promoting development within the nursing department. The successful candidate will work closely with team members to identify opportunities for growth and implement strategies for continued learning.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement training programs for nursing staff
- Collaborate with clinical teams to identify areas for quality improvement and implement evidence-based practice changes
- Provide mentorship and support for nursing staff in their professional development
- Assist in the development of policies and procedures related to nursing professional development
- Master's degree in nursing or related field (or Bachelor's degree with relevant experience)
- Current, valid Florida State of Nursing license as a registered professional nurse
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certification
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Word, Power Point and Excel
- Prior experience as a preceptor/educator
- Previous teaching experience in formal/informal settings
- Certification as Nursing Professional Development Educator
- Certification in clinical or educator specialty
