Professional Development Specialist
Job Description:
As a Professional Development Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and implementing educational programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of nursing staff. You will work closely with the nursing team to identify training needs and develop strategies to address them.
Responsibilities:
* Design and deliver high-quality educational programs to meet the diverse learning needs of nursing staff* Develop and implement training plans to improve patient outcomes and quality of care* Collaborate with nursing leaders to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to address them* Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make recommendations for future improvements* Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry trends to ensure compliance and best practices
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field* Current RN licensure* Minimum 2 years of experience as a nurse educator or trainer* Strong communication and interpersonal skills* Ability to work independently and as part of a team* Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Office suite
