Nursing Professional Development Specialist

The Nursing Professional Development (NPD) Practitioner is a critical role that focuses on empowering nursing professionals to achieve their full potential through effective learning and development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements comprehensive orientation programs to onboard new staff members, ensuring seamless integration into the organization's culture and values.
- Serves as a valuable resource for clinical inquiry and evidence-based practice initiatives, providing expert guidance and support to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Contributes to professional role development, practice role transitions, and succession planning by designing and coordinating educational activities that promote lifelong career growth and development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Minimum of two years of nursing experience, with a strong focus on education and professional development
- Current, valid Florida State of Nursing license as a registered professional nurse
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certification
Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in nursing or related field, prior experience as a preceptor/educator, and certification as a Nursing Professional Development Educator. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders to drive organizational success.
