About Our Company

Our organization is a leading provider of specialized products and services for the Hospitality industry. We have established our strong presence in room automation products through an exclusive partnership with Interel - a highly advanced technical room automation solution from Europe.

The ICT Support Officer will be responsible for installing, servicing, terminating, and commissioning, repairing and maintaining accommodation specific products, including electronic locks and locking systems, in-room automation systems, energy saving devices, in-room digital safes and energy efficient mini bars which run through the smart building infrastructure such as the hotel room, apartment, devices and software.

The following are the key responsibilities of the ICT Support Officer:

  • Setting up and configuring complex accommodation specific systems, install and maintain hardware and software in relation to the operation of these. Providing technical assistance and support over the telephone and in person on site, to troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
  • Installation, termination and commissioning, maintenance and repair of room control systems which involve similar complex principles.
  • Traveling to customer sites all over Australia to perform tasks like installing and configuring hubs, installing locks on cut doors, installing lift operators or door closers, configuring room automation.
  • Organizing sessions with third-party system vendors to test, action, and commission the integration between operating systems, and the systems of Vintech's products.
  • Remote and onsite integration and continuing administration of physical and virtual data centres including all applicable data systems, devices, and information security systems.
  • Installing smart room access using (Interel) products.
  • Database set-up for hotel security system (Saflok, Ambiance)
  • Giving training for Managers and staff in the hotel (Saflok, Ambiance, Kaba)
  • Server set up and installation
  • Installing and configuring workstation.
  • Diagnosing any problems when something is not working in the security system of the hotel mostly our company products.
  • Installing wiring and products including remote control units, electric strikes, sliding doors, etc.
  • Repair our company products like, electronic door locks, Interel panel and Remote-control unit.
