Claims Service Specialist

We're seeking a skilled Claims Service Specialist to join our team at Allianz Australia Services Pty Ltd. As a Claims Service Specialist, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to motor claimants in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the operational processing of claims and ensure all parties are informed throughout the process
  • Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, and liaise with 3rd party insurers and other multiple stakeholders
  • Maintain positive working relationships with external and internal stakeholders via managing expectations and aiming to provide best possible outcomes for your customers
  • Understanding and adhering to all relevant policies and procedures to mitigate risks and compliance issues

About You:

  • Experience in a fast-paced customer service or contact- centre role (mandatory)
  • Experience handling insurance claims would be desirable
  • Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing resources and demands
  • Demonstrated evidence of technical proficiency with systems, software, databases, reporting and communication tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with clarity, impact and influence
