The Business Development Manager will lead the charge in managing distributor and customer relationships, providing technical and market extension support, and driving strategic growth initiatives to boost sales across Brisbane.
This role requires a professional with exceptional interpersonal skills, who can develop and execute a visit plan for Brisbane, strengthen and expand relationships with distributors and customers, forecast market potential within the region, create action plans to break into new markets and attract new customers, and build strong relationships with senior management and key decision-makers at major or prospective customer organizations to ensure high client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a visit plan for Brisbane to identify opportunities and drive growth.
- Strengthen and expand relationships with distributors and customers through effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Forecast market potential within the region to inform business decisions and drive strategic growth initiatives.
- Create action plans to break into new markets and attract new customers through targeted marketing and sales strategies.
- Build strong relationships with senior management and key decision-makers at major or prospective customer organizations to ensure high client satisfaction and drive repeat business.
- Deliver impactful presentations, proposals, distributor and end-user training, and other activities to engage end-users and communicate technical information effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Influence and cultivate high-level relationships with stakeholders to drive business growth and development.
- Exceptional listening skills, with the ability to understand and meet customer needs and requirements.
- Deep knowledge of sales, marketing, and solution-selling strategies to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
- Proficiency in MS Office and business software, with a focus on maintaining high-quality CRM systems to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Ability to grasp and communicate technical information, including product specifications and applications for assigned product lines.
