About the Role

As a Regional Anaesthetic Specialist, you will be providing high-quality anaesthetic services for various procedures.

The role involves contributing to the department's pre-assessment clinic service, acute pain service, and obstetric epidural service. You will also support the trauma and cardiac arrest teams.

  • You will provide expert anaesthetic care for orthopaedic, trauma, general, gynaecological, obstetric, paediatric, ENT, dental, ECT, and endoscopic procedures.

You will work in a well-equipped hospital with state-of-the-art technology and modern facilities. The hospital serves a diverse patient population and offers opportunities for professional growth and development.

This is an opportunity to lead and mentor a team of healthcare professionals, including house officers, interns, registrars, and provisional fellows. You will also have access to ongoing medical education and skill development opportunities.

Requirements

Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA) or equivalent is required for this role.
