
Regional Hse Specialist

In this role, you will provide hands-on support, coaching, and leadership to operational teams to ensure alignment with our SHMS, and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities Support the implementation and continuous improvement of HSE policies, standards, and procedures across the region.
Lead investigations of incidents and support root cause analysis.
Provide strategic HSE support to regional leadership and operational sites.
Coach frontline leaders and personnel to embed a proactive safety culture.
Deliver HSE training, audits, and assessments.
Ensure compliance with Federal and State, Regulations and Standards.
Drive safety performance through data analysis, training, and employee engagement.
Facilitate environmental reporting and regulatory submissions.
Collaborate with site leaders on emergency preparedness and response planning.
Liaise with regulatory bodies and represent our business in HSE forums when required.
Manage health-related matters, including work and non-work-related injuries, ensuring appropriate support, reporting, and rehabilitation processes are followed What's In It For You Relocation assistance Strong safety-first culture with best practices DIDO or FIFO options available Competitive remuneration Supportive team environment and inclusive culture Professional development and career growth opportunities What You Bring Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety (preferred)Experience in a mid level or senior HSE role, ideally within explosives and dangerous goods (preferred)Strong working knowledge of relevant Health, Safety, Environment, Explosive and Dangerous Goods Regulations Strong working knowledge with the implementation and management of ISO 9001, ISO45001 and ISO14001 (preferred)Demonstrated success influencing HSE culture and improving performance across multiple sites Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills Certification in HSE (e.g.
